Prepositions for giving direction

Part of the job of a hotel receptionist is to give people directions.

These directions could include telling people how to get to their rooms, or to the dining room, or even the swimming pool.

However, these directions could also help the guest find local attractions or amenities. Important vocabulary to know is:

1. Go out of the classroom.	2. Go along the road.	3. Go under the bridge.	4. Go past the post office.
5. Go up the hill.	6. Go down the hill.	7. Go over the bridge.	8. Go through the park.
9. Go into the zoo.	10. Turn left into the High Street.	11. Walk past the café.	12. Turn right at the crossroads.
13. Go straight on.	14. Go to the end of the road.	15. Go out of the hospital.	16. Walk past the police station.
17. Take the second on the left.	18. Turn left at the T- junction.	19. Go around the roundabout.	20. My house is the first on the right.
